Thunderbolt Pizza is a pizza restaurant in Long Beach, California. It is listed at 4085 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807, which places it among the local businesses of Long Beach that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pizza takeout, restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11:30 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (562) 426-1900. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is thunderboltpizza.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

First timer to this place, my son invited us to come, and can definitely say I'll come back!!! I tried two of their pizzas and the Garlic bread Knotts...YUMMMM! We had one of their specialty pizzas Colpo di Fulmine; DELICIOUS! My favorite thing was that although it says that it is finished with their house made Hot Honey, it was not spicy (I don't eat spicy), but it was very flavorful. It was so good, I have not pictures of it LOL If you are around Long Beach or looking for a new pizza place, you have to stop by and try this place!

The ambiance is lovely. Good pizza, and the nuggets are just as good. You could never go wrong with a margaritas pizza as the aroma and flavor reminds me of Genoa, Italy. A must try place.

Thunderbolt Pizza absolutely brings their A-game β€” especially when the rest of the city has decided bedtime is 9:47 pm (a tragedy for pizza, and humanity, honestly). Finding a legit pizza spot open past 10 pm on a Friday night shouldn’t feel like a struggle, yet here we are. Thunderbolt understands pizza stays open late. This is a late-night, social pizza place but also open during other hours I’m just specifically mentioning late night eats. The kind where you linger, talk loud, and order another pie just because you can. Their specialty pizzas are genuinely fun β€” creative combos, bold flavors, and that β€œwho thought of this and why does it work?” energy. Sauce? Great. Cheese? Great. Spices? Playful and confident. No notes there. Now… the dough. The dough showed up a little underdressed for the party. It wasn’t bad β€” just bland and a bit flat, like it forgot it was supposed to be the foundation of the whole experience. When everything on top is this exciting, the crust needs to bring some personality to the relationship. That said, Thunderbolt still wins for vibe, creativity, and staying open when the people need pizza most. Fix the dough and this place becomes dangerous in the

I’m trying their pizza for the first time, and I’m already planning to come back! It was absolutely amazing. I got to try the BBQ and Dr. West Prerequisite pizzas, and both were fantastic and delicious. I also tried their hot wings, which were so flavorful. And don’t miss their garlic knotsβ€”they’re a must-try!
